BIOCARBON IMPERATIVES-AFRICA
Background
BIOCARBON IMPERATIVES-AFRICA (BIA) was founded in June 2009 as a Non-governmental Organization aimed at securing a sustainable and healthy environment for the future generations. BIOCARBON IMPERATIVES-AFRICA is spearheading sustainable environmental activities advocated by Professor Richard Samson Odingo after the Gambrinus Giuseppe Mazzotti Award announced in May, 2009 and awarded in November, 2009. The award which acknowledges individual person’s contribution towards environmental conservation, was accompanied by an additional award by Bioforest to support a reforestation project in Kenya.
